WARNING: Working on a hard disk or on partitions is not child's play,
If you do not have the skills, you should get help by persons authorized and competent.
It is prudent and advisable to make a backup of your data,
and also the structure of your entire hard drive first.
Clonezilla, for example, allows this kind of preliminary operation.
This software is under development. You can help us, by reporting bugs and difficulties you are experiencing.
You use it at your own risk.

The following actions and file systems are supported by GParted.

NOTE: You don't need to rebuild GParted to use new installed file system tools. Just (re)start GParted to make use of them (or hit the 'refresh' button in the features window).

[3] Although it's not possible to shrink an xfs file system directly, you can shrink it using GParted's copy functionality.
[4] Native available through libparted.
[5] Copy performed using xfsdump and xfsrestore.
[6] Requires mtools to read and write labels.
